The day finally arrived and I was soooo nervous before the start. But that feeling quickly dissipated after I stepped onto the Verrazano. It was crazy! .... .and I want to do it again!

Nonetheless, the food was great and that's my "happy for food" smile to prove it!
Marathon Week was crazy. I was able to listen to an inspirational talk by Bart Yasso, Chief Running officer for Runner's World magazine @ the ING Cafe. Here's a pic at the expo when I went to pick up my race bib! I also purchased Bart's book, My Life on the Run. It's awesome, and I want to do everything he does in it! Anyone want to climb Kilimanjaro? ...no... really!
Each 'Exquisite Corpse' consists of a head, torso, and legs, each done by a different artist who hasn't seen the other pieces. It'll be a total surprise to see what the full bodies look like...
